Ok not *that* bake off but made you click!
One of my favourite pubs in the South West, Bath’s Chapter One on London Road is holding it’s own charity bake sale to raise money for Cancer Research.
The premise is simple, turn up between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday 2nd Spetember with your cake, biscuits, brownies, tarts or other sweet goods and have them entered to be judged.
After judging happens the cakes are then up for purchase to raise money for charity. There are plenty of amazing beers that can be paired with your choice or the team have promised to put the kettle on for those that prefer tea with their biscuits.
I am honoured to have been asked to go and judge the competition so please get those aprons on and dust off your copy of Mary Berry’s Baking Bible and get baking!
