Bristol Food News

Gosh, there is a lot of this flying about, with no further ado…

Deck cafe opens on Gloucester Road

Run by three Hungarians, Deck cafe has opened in place of the sadly departed RomanescaΒ and is offering, according to the menu, some bloody lovely breakfasts and lunches. Pick from sandwiches, salads and full English breakfasts and cast an eye over their wine menu where you can try some of the good stuff from Hungary itself!

No,Β I won’t make a Hungary/cafe joke.

Mugshot to open on St Nicholas Street

Not much info to go on with this place but their Fb promises a restaurant with a 1920s theme, a menu that will please everyone including steak and pizza.

We’ll have to keep our eyes on this one.

Ceres has launched a fundraiser.Β

Ceres, cute Aussie style brunch hole and all round good eggs (hahaha I had to go with that one, don’t @ me) have found themselves in a bit of a pickle and are asking the Bristol public to help keep them afloat. Needing a not so little 9K to keep the wolf from the door, Dan, sweetcorn fritter flipper and ownerΒ has released a video hoping people will dig deep and buy some meals in advance via their Go Fund Me link.

We wish them all the best, losing such a lovely little spot would be a real shame.
